Luke Astell, PT
Luke has over 20 years of experience in the world of P.T. He was originally trained as an army technician and then received his degree as a PT from the University of Wisconsin. Luke's treatment focus revolves around treating the body's movement system, taking each person's needs and goals into consideration. His manually-focused treatment techniques are in combination with neuromuscular re-education to provide long term gains. This is focus is to allow the patient to not only feel better next week but to allow many years of sound, strong movement.
Luke’s hobbies include running, cycling, Ironman triathlons, climbing, and spending time with his family.
Nancy Bywater, PT, CMPT, OCS
Nancy's treatment emphasis is on changing structural dysfunction and re-educating the muscular system.
She is an outdoor enthusiast and counts running, hiking and an active family lifestyle among her fondest recreational pursuits.
Will Young, MSPT
Will incorporates an appreciation of an active lifestyle in his approach to rehabilitation. His treatment emphasis is on restoring proper joint mechanics and movement patterns, thereby empowering patients to maximize their own recovery.
He enjoys the multitude of outdoor activities available in the Northwest, including biking, photography, running, frequenting bakeries, and hiking with his family.
Sonia Karumsi, MSPT
Sonia is a talented addition to Mt. Stuart. She utilizes a holistic treatment approach to assist her clients in reaching health, wellness, and to maximize their healing potential. She integrates various manual therapy techniques, including myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, lymphatic drainage therapy, and joint mobilization.
A Philadelphia transplant, she has transitioned smoothly into the beautiful Northwest, where she enjoys the hiking, camping, skiing and traveling opportunities in our area.

Claudia Carani, Office Manager
Mt. Stuart is fortunate to have a knowledgeable, organized, and motivated management staff. Claudia is a long-time Leavenworth resident who possesses a keen knowledge of the business side of healthcare and insurance issues. Sometimes more of a ringmaster than a manager, she skillfully balances the tasks that keep our clinic organized.
