“For sixteen months it seemed like I was barely functioning after 1 1/2 years on Prednisone after a diagnosis of "Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease" (That's an auto-immune condition but they don't know what it is!). I was exhausted all the time, spending many days on my couch feeling miserable. I didn't ski for three years (tried, but was too exhausted).
I started the Lifetime Movements Class at Balance Point about a year ago and I also went to the aqua exercise class at the city pool. After a year of great regular exercise I feel wonderful and had a fabulous three day skiing trip to the Methow last week. I kept up with our group, didn't get completely wiped out and felt absolutely exhilarated. I am so happy I'm euphoric, after worrying that my skiing days might be over! So, I got a biggie checked off on my "bucket list"! I know it's primarily the exercise that did it. So if you have goals you want to meet come on and join us!”
