Class Descriptions
Spinning (Luke, Erika, and Keely)
An all levels training program that utilizes motivation, mental training techniques, and thorough cycling and instructional techniques. This is a great cardio workout that will leave you wanting more.
Life Movements (Liz)
A low impact cardio, strength training and flexibility class designed for the aging adult, 60+. The class is designed with the thought of teaching sound movement in everyday life. Uses light weights, and physio-ball work exercises.
Fundamental Yoga (Dean/Ginger)
This class emphasizes the wave like movements of the spine by weaving the breath with the Asanas (poses) into a slow vinyasa flow. By using movement to increase circulation before transitioning from basic foundation poses to more challenging versions of the poses, participants are able to practice to suit their individual needs for developing flexibility, strength, and endurance.
Wendesday class: Basic to Level I, Friday Class: Level I,II
Beginning Zumba (Rhona)
I love sharing zumba an awesome way to exercise by dancing to great Latin music, and it is so much fun, using my dance, ballet, jazz and folk dance background I create most of my own routines to match the workout needs to participants.
Zumba (Joy)
The goal of this class is simple: Have fun while you exercise! Zumba combines Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a fitness program you'll enjoy! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.

Strength & Core (Liz)
A 45 minute weight training class designed to work your major muscles, keep your heart rate up and improve core strength. Using free weights and mat work, you'll improve muscular strength and core stability as you work through various exercises.
Vinyasa Yoga (Nadege)
For Intermediate or Advanced. A flowing sequence of asanas coordinated with the breath and using Vinyasas (Sun salutations) to link the poses. This practice removes the toxins out of your bodyand promotes health and well being of mind, body, and spirit. This is a vigorous class and not appropriate for beginners.
Belly Dancing (Nadege)
This class focuses on body isolations, basic steps, simple undulations, arm movements, and how to play the zills (finger cymbols). You will also get familiar with Middle Eastern rhythms, Arabic pop songs, and Egyption calssical music. Belly dancing is a great way to develop grace, femininity, sensuality, and your sense of rhythm. It is also a fun, low impact, cardio workout.
Functional (Erika)
One hour class focusing on muscle toning, improving strength and balance, and increasi
ng kinesthetic awareness. Medicine ball, tubing and other equipment will be used along with athletic body movements. Appropriate for most levels. This class will get you moving and may let you discover muscles you never knew you had.
Hi- Low (Erika)
This is a 60 minute cardio class focusing on easy to follow movement patterns and constant motion to achieve an appropriately elevated and maintained heart rate response. Fun for all fitness levels!
